“My wildly colourful creations dive into my playful imagination, displaying my slightly absurd and whacky perspective in detail. This expression is rooted in celebrating life’s joyous moments through love, my queer identity and highlighting my world with a sense of feeling and seeing life through “rose tinted glasses”. My world is malleable; romantic and manifests play through a theatrical use of colour and composition. The work reverberates laughter and a sense that life is not always so serious.”

Drawing from his experience in theatre & stage performance, Jardine constructs a beautifully wild, weird and fantastical safe space to immerse oneself in. His interior scenes stem from his background in story telling where characters, scenes & motifs come to life. Jardine also references architectural influences from his appreciation of heritage & history. His works are confessions of mysterious encounters . The decor, detail & furnishings allude to the peculiar lives of people we want to know.
