Andrew Burns is an artist inspired by the movement of water and the manner in which the water surface abstracts the aquatic forms below. His paintings delve into this amalgamation, employing palettes of contrasting colors and negative space. Much like in nature, the ever-changing light on the paint reveals the subtle texture of the water caused by its own flow and that by the form beneath.

All of his work is created by blowing acrylic paint using only his breath. He abstains from employing any equipment whatsoever, including straws, and does not physically touch the canvas or glass on which he paints.
